WLS offers to monitor the closed Long Library

Wells College’s Louis Jefferson Long Library, designed by award-winning architect Walter Netsch, is a stunning, site-specific building completed in 1968. As much as the open, free-flowing design is appreciated, the building has always had maintenance issues that have required close attention. Now that the Library has officially closed, WLS has offered to be a regular presence in the building, to ensure that the humidity and temperature remain in a range that will protect the collections.

Here is the letter WLS wrote to the Board of Trustees.
